Overall great food and service. It's a small but cozy and pleasant place with a big seafood focused menu. There is seafood, fish, oysters and even a paella. There is a steak on the menu as well. Fun drink menu and a good wine list. Service is friendly and attentive. Drinks are $16-20. Menu options $18 and up. Bill for 8 with plenty of drinks, appetizers, some desserts came to $680.

Happy hour is fantastic. Is my 3rd time here. Also tried crabs, oysters, mussels... food is great and happy hour is worthwhile. Nice place at the bar. Music, people, service.

The food is simply fantastic here. Every time we've been here we've had some of the freshest, beautifully presented, flavorful seafood around. We had Kumimoto oysters that were as fresh and light as they could be. Steamers were outstanding and again plentiful and served in a beautiful broth. All of our seafood from cod to halibut to crab cakes were wonderful. The reason for four stars is this. Every time we have been here despite the food being fantastic the service staff has not been pleasant. From the moment you walk in the door they seem slightly annoyed and disinterested at best. I wouldn't even call it service that is given. The food is delivered, no effort is made to discuss the menu or interact with the customers and the effort by the waiters is beyond minimal. We understand that Greenwich is not an easy town for people in the service industry but we don't come more often because of this aspect of the restaurant. We truly love the food but it might be worth visiting the service aspect.

Had an amazing dinner here this weekend! We had the Crab avocado stack Appetizer, clam chowder, blackened swordfish with a citrus coulis, and the special haddock with lobster sauce and risotto. The desserts were just as good as the entrees with chocolate mousse and sticky toffee pudding. One of the best meals we've had in a long time!! The service was also fabulous.

We head up here for a late lunch meeting family. On a beautiful weekday, not overly busy. We had a few bloody Maria's, which were delicious. It was one of the best I've had. For apps, we shared the raw blue point oysters and an order of fried. Both were terrific. The lunch special was a soft shell crab sandwich and fries very good and cooked just right. Others in my party had the Paella, and that looked amazing. I highly recommend if in the area.

Oysters and Steamers! Lucky to live close to culinary destinations of the States of Connecticut and New York. Sans traffic, many of my favorite eating establishments are merely 15 to 20 mins drive heading either north to Connecticut or south to New York City. Here's my go-to seafood restaurant in Greenwich. In Old Greenwich, dining options are fine and aplenty without the challenging reservation system and higher cost in comparable restaurants in the city. On my table are: Spinney Creek Steamers in white wine, my must-have! Whole Oyster Chowder with spinach, new on the menu Chopped salad with blue cheese, etc Perfectly cooked Cod with sides of sweet-savory apple fritters, garlic spinach and corn in lemon-lime dressing Heavenly as always! #seafood #greenwichconnecticut #curious_eater @elmstreetoysterhouse

Fav place in Greenwich. Period. Sautéed oysters are amazing! If you know you know. The raw oysters and fish are wonderful too. Always check out the fish special, then get that. Done. I always switch out the starch for another green veggies - wonderful. Every person I know who lives in Greenwhich or used to live her, live and I mean LOVES this place. I knew one person had live in chef and still came here three nights a week. Make a reservation. The wait staff is super friendly. Enjoy!
